Beez

I’m a 40 year old married graphic designer living in Framingham Massachusetts. I started riding at 14 in the high deserts of Southern California. My background favors off-road riding but I got into streetbikes after college. From ‘95 to ‘03 I was the Assistant Art Director for Cycle World magazine, working in beautiful Newport Beach, CA. The editors got me into racing a little bit and I have competed in some Grand Prix, 6-hour and 24-hour off-road endurance races. My favorite is still trail riding and dual-sport. In 2003 I moved east to New England and have been slowly exploring the area and meeting riders. The states here are the size of counties in California! When I look at a map I think it will take me all day to get to the other side and it only takes a couple of hours, I forget that they don’t cram as many sq. miles on an east coast map as they do on a west coast map. In 2005 I bought my first BMW, a 1200GS from MaxBMW in NH. At CW I never thought much of BMWs until I rode a couple of 1150 GSs and then an RT, then I guess it clicked. Now I own a Beemer and I love it! Beez (same Beez on ADVrider, KTMtalk and NEDB)

Re: Massachusetts dualsport ride - May 20

The info I just posted I got from another website. I am not affiliated with the Berkshire Trailriders, I just had a great time at this rde the last 2 years. So I thought I'd pass the info along here.

This ride is suitable for big adventure tourers like the GS1200 and Adventure.  It is dirt roads and paved roads if you stay on the main route. You could even do it two-up. There are some optional "Hero" sections which increase the difficulty and make the ride more interes...
