ABOUT ME
Shhhh! I really ride a Yamaha TW200, and I love my little bike! I do all my riding in the Texas Hill Country, and haven’t ridden in any city bigger than Bandera Texas. If you ride with me you’ll probably see scenery you wouldn’t have otherwise. It’s the bike really it is! If you want to know the best roads to ride or places to stop and have a bite to eat and a drink in the motorcycle mecca of Texas, just ask - 22 miles for a great biscuits and gravy with some sass or a burger and homemade ice cream that will make you weak in the knees; fine casual dining on the Guadelope river; and the scenery is thrown in for your enjoyment. Of course local hangouts too, Italian, Mexican, American, and southern pan fried chicken (but only on Tuesdays). And when I’m not giving directions, I’m meeting some of the most interesting people in the world - literally.

Today marks year 4 of owning the Inn, and as on any milestone in life, I find myself reflecting on where I am and how I got here and wondering where here will lead me. I'm living a dream that started nearly 35 years ago, and hope to retire with this dre ... Read more

I should have clarified my statement -- asked if the 250 would get me to Niagra Falls on the back roads on a nice touristy, enjoy the scenery, slow trip. And of course the answer to that was yes! If I want to ride the highways at 70 they recommended the 400 or the 500.

Sell the Inn? Yes -- it has been on the market for almost 3 months now. I don't know what I'll do next, or where I will be, except I plan to stay in Texas. More than anything, I plan to get some rest! I'm fortunate that I have had the opportunity to live a childhood dream, but I am ready to not work so hard (the 15-18 hour days really got to me this year -- my body has informed me that 51 is not a kid anymore) and to enjoy life a little. I've on...

I just read this post (I've been busy lately). The San Antonio Vespa dealer was one of the sponsors for an event I had here this year. The MP3 is a great bike. Many ladies were very interested in it, and the dealership guys told me that they have sold more MP3s to women who were use to riding on the back, but when they saw the bike/scooter/whatever you want to call it, they were sold. I had some guests who rode the bike and loved it.
This is one of the th...
