Yes, I was pleased by Sophie's performance on our trip to Alaska. While there wasn't a lot of long stretches of gravel, there was plenty of it. Actually, the worst we hit was in North Dakota where it was deep sand for over 1/4 mile stretches in some road construction areas.

Oooh Nina, we got about an inch of rain last nite. went to check cows on dirt bike (FEAR THIS Suzuki DR200!!!) Didn't get too far in the greasy mud B4 turning tail and heading for home and the 4wheeler. Course the mud/$hit mixture in the cow paths are probably slicker than the road in Alaska. Certainly have a very green tinge to the cow paths. Never got down, but never was really in control of the direction of travel either. Please come on down and pr...

I don't remember anything bad happening to me in 2008.
I had a whole bunch of really good stuff happen, meeting more of the people here ranking right up there at the top. However, I guess the best thing will be making it intact to 2009 (is that too presumptous?) so I can ride with yall some more.
